Shanghai Co-way International Technology Transfer Center offers passionate Business Development team on marketing & sourcing of technologies, serving enterprises’ international business development and promoting technology transfer from research to business. With many years’ experience and success stories on supporting our customers with tailor-made solutions, Shanghai Co-way also provides consulting expertise on local networking and advice in technology transfer to clients from the public and private sectors.

Established in 2001, Shanghai Co-way was jointly invested by Shanghai Technology Innovation Center, Shanghai Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park Development Corp., and International Technology Transfer Center of Tsinghua University, and is supported and promoted by Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality (STCSM).

In 2004, Shanghai Co-way participated in the establishment of Shanghai International Technology Transfer Network (SITTNET) and is responsible for the construction, management and maintenance of Shanghai International Technology Transfer Information Service Platform (www.sittnet.cn), which is designed to facilitate information flow; promote industrial upgrade and technology advancement; and accelerate re-development, technology integration and innovation. Since the formation of the Network, Shanghai Co-Way has been working as the Secretariat and promoting technology transfer collaboration among SITTNet members.

In 2007, Shanghai Co-way became the secretariat of Asian Association of Business Incubator (AABI). AABI is an association established in 2002. National incubator associations of 18 Asian-Pacific countries are the members of AABI.

In 2010, accumulated more than 10 years’ experiences in technology transfer with CIS countries, Shanghai Co-way, along with Caohejing Hi-tech Park Innovation Center, established “Shanghai Sino-Russian Science and Technology Cooperation Base” “Shanghai Sino-Ukrainian Science Park”, or “Sino-Russian-Ukrainian Science Park” for short. The Park is designed to be the first and only portal for Shanghai’s S&T cooperation with Russia, Ukraine and other CIS countries. Numbers of projects in the Park, with Co-way’s help, have been listed as Key Programs by the Ministry of Science and Technology and Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality in the past two years.
